The Hardest Mission EVER!

no clue, i always hate piloting planes in games, i dont see why they cant make them handle like cars

Yup, I finished the whole game and more than once, but that was a while ago and I can't really remember how did I do it. All missions like this one are pain in Vice City, there's also the mission when you're supposed to pilot a plane. That one is maybe even worse.

I killed every worker there, then used helicopter with micro movements.It was hard but I finished it with max of 6-7 tries.

And I tell you, this mission is not even in the Top Hardest 100 missions in my game life.GODDAMN SUPER MEAT BOY !!

Is that when you need to set up bombs by using RC helicopter? I hate that mission!

I never had a problem with that mission, i guess i did it on my second try... Try to revamp your keys just for the mission, i did that to be more user friendly.

I loved that mission. The secret is to keep calm, and dont look at the timer (i think there was a timer, it's been a while). You have plenty of time to plant them, and oh, yea, i think i always started from the highest floor down (dont know why really, but it seemed to work)

The hardest part was restarting :( going through cutscenes over and over again, going to the van location and finding it bugged ):

Yeah, this mission requires A LOT of patience :) But if you get the hang of the controls (a numpad is mandatory here ! ), it's not THAT hard. Just very frustrating :)

First of all Vice city is the best gta game so far and what comes to that mission i never had any problems with it but i have listened my friends bitching about it.

I finnished Vice City twice, but it was so long ago, I only remember I had to be very patient to pass this mission.

EDIT: It was with keyboards, no other accessories.

I didn't find it hard at all - you just have to kill the workers first, and then fly with ease =)

BTW, I always reconfigured every GTA with flying controls so that WASD controls throttle and roll (left-right). And then 2,4,6,8 on numpad control pitch and yaw (tilt front-back and turn left-right). This control scheme works extremely well =)

Some say the race mission in first MAFIA was hard... I just sat down for an evening, mastered it, and later drove it for my friends for money :D

I had to give up in this one. The mission was incredibly easy and straighforward, but the handling on keyboard made it impossible.
Luckily it was only a side mission (it unlocks a few other more missions though). At some point I'll have to replay the game just to beat it. :)

There was another mission that gave me a bit of problems for the same horrible handling problem. I think it was called "Dodo's Dildo", or something like that.

I wonder if there is a way to import S.Andreas' plane/helicopter handling into Vice City. :)

Never had a problem with this mission - but then I got the GTA's on my old Xbox, with a controller after picking up GTA 3 for cheap on the PC and finding out it was one of the worst shitports ever. (The botched controls being a large part of that).

The worst mission in VC I found is the one where you need to race against the person you're trying to recruit as driver for the bank heist. Because the guy keeps wrecking his car and dying, which fails the mission.

I have completed the whole VC game alongwith this mission as well WITHOUT a controller from a keyboard. Though it isnt as much tough as a similar rc mission in SA.

Same situation us you. No controller. I teamed up with my brother. The one controlled the movement the other was throwing the bombs.

We havent manage to do such a good cooperation since then :P

Yeah, I remember that mission very well and I needed hundered of tries to complete it xD If I remember correctly, I used the "kill everyone first"-strategy to complete it. But I guess the big problem here really is the use of mouse/keyboard, gonna revisit this game one day and use my X360-Pad for the flying-sections.

I'm happy to say I beat this level, after countless of hours of effort. Totally worth it.

Completed Vice city many years ago...ya I was not able tp complete that mission for few weeks...i tried and tried tried and well I did it :) at the end u have to kill Lance lol

That was easy. The Driver was the hardest shit in VC.
You simply not played Ninja Gaiden I on NES if you think that was hard. ^_^
