yay for badge crafting time
wallet funds will grow now since I crafted 31 badges(albeit... will be less than I spent since I bought alot of cards for the nekopara badges(I used funds from selling a higurashi foil card(was like $8 after fees of wallet funds))

I enjoyed my $1.65 from selling these cards at 7 cents each. just don't look how much I spent to complete those nekopara card sets
I will never understand why people pay extra to get these cards early... the day the event goes live these cards drop to 5 cents... why pay 6-8 per.

yes
also if you have to buy cards to complete your set don't bother(trading is fine), you will get a 1 week hold on any crafted rewards.

I pretty much let them pile up and craft at summer and winter sale the moment cards go live, each one is a nickel+ wallet on first day you can get em from crafts.

I usually do one big idle session a month or so before big sale events
foils are nice money if you get lucky.
one higurashi foil card... will pay for the next chapter and some for example.

I've kept my foils so far, with the exception of limited time cards, and yeah, definitely good money. OCD me wants to pretend I'll eventually make a foil set with them all.

Idle Master Extended (if still in dev) and Archi's Steam Card Farm (ASF) are the main ones, though ASF is probably THE one; safest, updated regularly and widely used ... every time there is a freebie you probably see people posting:

There is also other services that provide it, even some web browser extensions ... but I don't feel comfortable even naming them.

True I see these codes posted often but I recall Archi thing is quite difficult to configure plus I may get banned on Steam right? Or it's fine to use it by Steam TOS?

Difficult to setup, but if you use the wiki page on GitHub, it does link to a template:

See Web-based Config Generator, that does all the really difficult stuff for you.

As for getting banned, ASF is the safest idler to use. If you get banned it won't be from using ASF. Idle Master has a very low chance of triggering a ban I think (haven't used it but do remember the rare report about it). Web browser extensions ... as previously hinted, avoid.

is it better to craft badges now and get mystery cards? or it would be the same if I craft badges in a week during the sale and get winter sale cards then?
like, do mystery cards give any benefit or advantage over the winter cards?

craft now if you want to sell the cards, their value will plummet when sale goes live(as people will get cards from buying/discovery queue/etc...)
otherwise it doesn't matter, they are mystery cards right now but when sale goes live they will reveal the real cards and they will be those cards

How come these cards are already on the market? If I craft a badge now and get a mystery card, it is not tradeable until 17th of Dec.
Was there a possibility to get these mystery Winter 2024 cards from crafting earlier than now?

edit: argh, I understood now, it depends on the ingredients I used for the badge. If I bought some ingredients recently, there is a restriction.
