Thought about it, but I think it is too much hassle. I just let all the freebie crap sit in the ALL GAMES section, which I rarely ever use, and filter just the Favorites, adding to it the games I am interested in playing whenever...

This is what I do. Have a folder titled "Never Going to Play". It was tedious to put everything in folders when I started, but now I just place them in their correct spot as I buy/win them.

Yeah, best choice ever. Easy and does not squabble away time. I too have a filter PLAYED, and I put in there games I tried out; they are sorta branded now xD Doomed to stay unplayed xD

Just be careful not to remove any that you've won here. Also, I found it quite helpful myself to set up a secondary Steam account, for all the freebies, card-farming, shovelware and stuff that's not meant to be played.

Yeah, we all only enter for games we really would like to play. It still happens though, that the game turns out quite different than expected, or simply does not work. I won that classic 7th guest some time ago, it completely crashes my computer when I try to start it. The best thing I could do is deinstall and hide it in order to prevent me from launching it by accident.

I won’t get a free game just to get a +1 for my account. Also, I have a “really bad reviews play at risk” category on steam. That’s about the extent I go to, don’t really hide or delete games.

I did try one time deleting Hidden object games after I solved them but got trapped by SGTools check for inactivated wins so I had to restore them so as to pass SGTools.

Don't know what your problem is...after all in the past 5years he played his wins for a whooping 15 hours (not counting the 53h of Fallout 4). That's a serious time commitment! :D

Congrats!
I removed between 400-500 games from my account. Very satisfied with that decision. xD

I do not remove games from my account in practice, the only time I did was to buy a "purchase together" package that forbid me from buying because I already owned part of it, but which was cheaper than buying the remaining games separately... :P

I have been refunded for a few games, though...

Haven't removed a game, will probably never remove one. Let the trash be there hidden somewhere in my library.... :D

But congrats for doing it and feeling good about it. :)

And thanks for the gibs.

I started hiding those I will not play (anymore), and made a category for completed games which I don't necessarily want to hide.
To each their own, but organisation of a big library is a necessity

I just don't add games to my account if I don't want to play them. Never removed a game

I not remove games.
I hide the games i will not play (anymore), and have a category for completed games which I don't want hide. And other categorys too, to split the normal "all in one" library to a more "useable" thing.
