NBA 12 retail works on Steam?

Is it possible to buy a retail copy to get working Steam key?
Will work it with Steam, or like 2k11 a secuROM key?

I would say no, as far as I know, this is the (archived) list of retail games that can be activated on Steam.
Feel free to correct me in case the list is not updated.

today i learned there are specific keys that no longer works on steam even the key is same steam format! wow!
