Standard version or are you a beta tester?

I ask because I'm not beta testing and I use Firefox 64.0.2 and have no issues with youtube at all.

There you go. It might be a bug in the newest beta.

I'm asking my friend, who is also using the Quantum beta, to try that out and see if he gets the same problem.

Edit- Just heard from him and his youtube using the same version is having no problems. I still think it might be a bug.

use another browser. If the same behavior insists there is something in your computer (malware probably).
If it is not, clear everything from your browser (cookies, offline data, site settings, EVERYTHING I TELL YOU!), disable every add-on and plugin you have.
If this behavior stops, then start enabling things until you find the culprit xD

Dont delete passwords mate. Even though you can export them and use them again. Go settings> privacy and security > Clear all history.
Select range to clear : EVERYTHING
and select cache, cookies, site preferences, offline website data
Then disable all plugins addons as i told you.

i liked L3zl13 approach also. It's the same with clear data, but faster and more clever.

Have you tried it in incognito mode? If it works in incognito then the problem is related to some cached content or cookie.
