You do surveys, tasks and other stuff for coins, in which you buy games with.
Really depends on the country you live in and the time you are willing to spend on it to say it's worth it for you.
90% of my collection comes through it, so to me it was worth it.

got to be better than a steam group that I saw advertised here just recently on a giveaway, which , when I thought about it, seemed to be a way for whoever set it up to mine bitcoins by getting other people to do giveaways etc.. - least that was the way it seemed to me - but I am very uneducated in these things :)

It depends on a few factors; where you live, what you consider "worth it", if you're willing to spend some time and sweat doing tasks and earning the required amount of coins. If you can earn enough, Tremorgames is especially useful for grabbing bundled games for cheap.

No worries. It's not exactly for everyone, either you won't get tasks in your region, or you won't think that the effort is worth it. Lots of my bundled games giveaways are games I grabbed from there actually. :P
