Loss of faith in humanity.

I won a giveaway for a good game, the ga creator saw my e-mail associated with SG which sadly has my rather unique real name, he traveled across half of Europe to my house and left a big box on my doorstep, with a sign saying "HERE'S YOUR GAME BTW MIND THE SNAKES" and the box contained a boxed copy of the game (which does come with a Steam key btw so that's good) and about a hundred of vicious snakes (this is the bad part) all slithering around and looking at me menacingly. Well I did get the game but I lost a finger and that's my saddest SG-related loss.

e - it was a right pinky so I can game alright but cleaning my ear got a lot harder

Off the top of my head, one that stuck with me was when somebody gave away 20 copies of a game I really wanted to his whitelist and a group I wasn't in. He said there would be plenty of keys for everybody, and when the entries climbed to 21, he said he'd make another GA for the ones who didn't win. It ended up with 43 entries-- I didn't win obviously-- and there was no subsequent GA (not that one would expect it).
It turns out it was just a bundle game that wasn't all that hard to trade for (which I later did). But at the time I was sad!
