Saddest loss is every time I see a giveaway with 10 copies of a game I really want, and I still can't win.

Some guy a couple months ago was really annoying, spammed a lot and was overall ridiculous. Also broke the rules. Eventually went too far and got permabanned. These days, you can sometimes see a thread pop up on the forum with a random SG user saying that konrad added them and asked them to post on the forum to unban him. "Bring konrad back" is some kind of a meme I guess. :P

Money is also a regenerated commodity, since the treasury always print some more, so you can't lose money?
You also lose stats on the "lucky" category, since it calculates your chance of winning each giveaway you enter, meaning each time you don't win a giveaway you lose a small amount.
Realistically speaking, you do lose a chance, SG points and those stats.

Well you can lose something you've got, to even if it is just stats.
Also, no one is really crying from losing, I just wanted to know when some people got disappointed for losing.
And I do buy games I want to play, when I clear my backlog I'll surely buy the Witcher, it's just I wanted to win that one, that's all.

Eh, I've lost lots of 2-10 entries giveaways, but rarely got sad over it. I enter and usually forget, then out of nowhere spacecat sometimes visits me. :D

I entered over 100 giveaways for Fran Bow and didn't win any, even if most of them were low entry group giveaways. And I kept checking ended ones hoping someone would ask for a reroll. I was pretty salty when I discovered a winner who gave away their copy to level 10 and took away my chance in a small group giveaway ;_; I traded for Fran Bow eventually and it was excellent.

That one time there were 5 games I really wanted in a hard puzzle train and each of them barely had over 10 entries... I won something that day and was so happy! ... only to look at the won game and realise it was just a cheap featured GA with 50000 copies ;-;
I had fun with the game but the feeling was still horrible because I have to think of the other 5 games every time I play it XD

I can't remember that far back but the most recent ones were when I lost Tales of Zestiria and VA-11 Hall-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action with six entries. Then when I lost Stories: The Path of Destinies with 11 entries.
Those were all from whitelist or group giveaways though so I'm still happy that someone else is enjoying the games :)

The win estimator is always BS. Even with 90% and more, you will not win anything.

I want to know what was your saddest loss you had over here at SG. either being a game you really wanted or one with a really low amount of entries.
Mine was probably when I joined the Unlucky 7 group, and there were two giveaways for The Witcher 3 with around 150 entries each, and I still didn't really understand Steam Gifts, so I thought I could easily win, alas, I got quite sad for losing.
But the giveaway I had the most chance of winning and lost was a whitelist one with only 3 entries including me.
Since I'm still a newbie in SG, I want to hear your sad stories about losing your giveaways.
