I kinda screwed up

I finally decided yesterday that my backlog is a filthy mess and I should just giveaway whichever games I don't think I'll get around playing.

It turns out it was messier than I though, and 3 of the keys I used were already used in previous GAs.

None of those 3 games is on sale or on a bundles atm, and those GAs have already finished.

Do you have any suggestion other than sucking it up and paying to full price for the games to give the keys to the winners?

I'm waiting to get the keys from tremor for 'Voyage: Journey to the moon' and 'Z', and waiting for a reply on a trade for 'To the moon'.

Was about to comment that I once had to do exactly that because the key I had happened to have a slightly different region lock than what I thought (strictly SA instead of the more lose definition that steam usually gives to the SA region, and the winner was from Mexico I think) and I simply couldn't get a replacement.

depends on games, if it was bundled games you could try and check over on tremorgames though, or even isthereanydeal for othersites besides steam.

judging solely off last ~6-7x GA's i'd say your chances at getting @ tremor are fairly decent.

First thing I did was check isthereanydeal, haven't heard of tremor before though, but it looks like there's no stock for the games I'm looking for :/

oh really? i saw 5/6 of the ones that ended today on tremor, maybe its region thing on tremor for you? ~~or which game was it?~~ (saw update) to the moon is only one i saw out of stock on those 6x.

Voyage: Journey to the Moon & Z are on tremor. (for me)

I just rechecked, and you're right, Voyage: Journey to the Moon is in stock.
Maybe Z is too.

yeah, Z is too, though the 495point is a hair high, you might be better off getting a cheaper game with a higher trade value (example: Sneak Thief 195points) and take that cheaper game to the trades section to get Z... save you points and make someone in trades really happy with a good game for a not so great one ;) (same thing to be able to get "to the moon" if need as well)

--additionally could offer that as a bribe for removal while making winner even happier then their original win =) lol

u could nicely tell the winners about the problem, and if they agree to let it go, u can ask support to delete the GA.
or maybe offer them another game for condolence

Ask the winners to agree on deleting the ga, tell each of them, they can pick a game of a certain value (what you paid for the other 1 or so...) and give them their choice? Is what I would do probably...

Z = is "expensive" at 445 coins, though 1 survey if he's lucky.
To the moon = sold out.
Voyage: Journey to the Moon = 195 coins

But 2 games atleast for him he could get.

yeah i saw. at least voyage should be fairly easy to replace that route (assuming any offers are available to op) =)

if lucky and can earn several points just pickup a few random games to try and trade for whatever else is needed too, or to get Z cheaper :D

Unless you have written those games down together with your backlog keys, or could explain to the winners if the keys is being use and will replace other keys to them :)
