You bought an AMD videocard didn't you? That's where it started for me, Dirt 3 Retail in a AMD box. My first purchase was a GTA collection 1-4 with all extra's and stuffies.

Mine seems to be July 11 2012, bought Dungeon Defenders and a ton of DLC for it. Yeah, I haven't been in Steam for a long time yet. DunDef actually is the game that convinced me to join Steam, I played it a lot in local co-op with a friend of mine, and I decided I had to have a copy of my own. :3

And Steam brought you to SG, and SG made you draw furry art. Steam is the gateway drug.

May 20, 2010 Portal - Complimentary (Opt In)
They had a free week of Portal. Everyone who downloaded Portal for free that week got to keep the full game for free, forever.
My first purchase through Steam was The Orange Box. I saw it on sale and remembered my little brother (divorced family, bleh) saying that he played a lot of Half-Life before he joined the US Army. I figured I should see what all the hype is about.
Feel free to tell everyone a little bit about that first entry.
