The game won't be what the trailer shows. Nintendo is fucking things up by raising people expectations by showing pokemon interacting outside your phone screen as 'holograms'.

No they wouldn't. That would defeat the purpose of Pokemon GO, which is to bait casuals into paying micro transactions from their phone for a shitty game. If it wasn't this would have been released into the 3DS.People will play this because it's on their phones, not because it's made by nintendo.

If Nintendo released an actual MMO for pokemon it would kill the franchise. No one would buy the new handheld games because they already have the "definitive experience", which would kill one of nintendo's biggest cashcows

Well the only pokemon game I've ever played was Pokemon Snap which was fun for a bit, but nothing like anything else in the series. Don't see that changing and buying new hardware to play a new one on.
