This time I threw a real serial code and got real game.
Still, I think that explanation text should be first and the actual hole second, so new users won't throw random numbers and then realize what they've done :P

This is this first time I saw this. And I really didn't know what they wanted. I thought I had to put in my day of birth (because of the 3 fields to write in) to see what game offer they had today. They rejected my birthday :D Good thing though so nobody got a fake key from me.
So I realized I had to put in a steam key, gave a valid one, got a valid one. :) So luckily it all turned out well.

Hmm. Contrary to what that a comment in thread indicates, last year did also let you submit an endless number of keys (and threads from that time confirm my recollection). I just checked and, same as last year, the page gives a response of "The hole rejects your offering." if you attempt to submit a key that it doesn't accept (ie, by resubmitting the same key twice; The lack of response made us think there was an error in the submission last year, as well).
In short, a lack of response means the key was (in theory) submitted without issue.
