Who will win?
I don't hate the French team, but they sucked so far.
"Germany plays on the home-field of France." LOL

My two favorite international teams. My heart are with France as always. With Germany missing Hummels, Khedira, and Gomez, it does seem like an opportunity to overcome their nemesis, especially at home. Despite their recent wins (against lower competition levels), I still fear for their psyche, especially if they go down 0-1.
Either way, I just hope whoever wins defeats Portugal (soundly).

Not surprising after Germany defeating Italy last game for them... and now with an Italian referee, go figure, lol

If this is in reference to the call against Schweinsteiger, how is that not a hand ball? He was late defending, and tried to make up ground by sticking him hand out in an unnatural position toward the ball, which struck his hand.
I generally root for Germany, and they may have won with Gomez/Hummels/Khedira-- who knows-- but I don't think the ref cost them the match. IMO of course.

When a team has almost 70% of possession, shoots 17 times and is not able to score a goal, it's not the mistake of the referee for me... The penalty kick was a bit severe but there is a foul. German played better, we had a lot of luck too but our defense for once was great tonight (we talk about the absence of Hummels and the Boateng's injury but we also lost a part of our defense before the competition).
Things don't really change after this victory: Germany is still one of the best team of the world, but tonight we win and we are happy because it's been a long time we didn't win against them in a big competition.

Considering I haven't heard any drunkards sing on the streets, I suppose that Germany lost?

Why do you have to crush my hopes and dreams? You could have left me in the bliss of ignorance. You are cruel. ;_;

I totally understand. I'm French and I'm already pissed off about all these news everywhere, and the songs and horns for about 3 hours after the match... And if we win this sunday...
Bah, perhaps Portugal will crush us. I hope so. But I suppose they suck a little bit, considering the bashing against them on this topic :p

Reminds me of the 1940 semifinal. Germany was going blitzkrieg on the field!

The second semifinal is coming up next.
It´s the one of the more difficult side of the bracket (my opinion).
Germany plays on the home-field of France.
Hard to say what will happen, like most the time of this competition.
I guess it will go over regular time once again, maybe penalty shoot-out. For the case of shoot-out I see a slightly pro for France.
What´s your opinion?
May the better one win
