I must admit, I'm surprised the prototype of the game isn't one of the preorder bonuses. Given how many fans of the Original are, that would be an instant preorder.

Anyways, it actually looks pretty good, I'll give it a preorder a couple paychecks from now.

On it. Recently bought the X-Com collection as an appetizer. I spent many nights playing that when the original was first released. Easily one of my favourite franchises.

I wish I could say it's one of my favorite franchises, but I didn't really like any of the games past Terror from the Deep, and even that I didn't like nearly as much as the original.

It being one of my favourite franchises is entirely off of the first two games. I still enjoyed Terror from the Deep, but not nearly to the same level as the original. I know people that were really into Apocalypse but I couldn't stand the changes. Enforcer and Interceptor were meh.

I've already thrown my money at it. Ever since I heard they was dragging XCom out from the ocean bed (see what I did there?) I knew it was going to be worth watching. Seeing what Firaxis has done with it has certainly made me think the risk is worth forking out for. Although this XCom FPS is looking... interesting too.
