To be fair, a lot of things on Steam are tagged with Tower Defense, and yet really aren't TD games, or the TD component is rather small. Plus, someone may only have a few, but play them a lot, so I would consider an exception if TD are some of the most played in their library.

joined-17 out of 348 (5%) even if some ar not td i like td's especially the ones like sanctum and OMD but I'm all in for classic TD's if they are well done like defense grid

I'm not sure if I qualify. The test said 5% with 15 games, but it showed some free ones too (I counted them and still think I'm just above the border). I don't have many of them but I still really love them! =D

Thanks for a lovely group. I really enjoy tower defense games. I recently finished Kingdom Rush and it was pretty challenging. I can't wait to play Gemcraft but it's a bit low on my list of priorities right now. I'm always on the look out for some great TD games so it'd be amazing if group forums had some kind of a list of hidden gems. :)
