If you check those 3rd party key resellers, they're selling keys for like 60 cents or so... so you didn't miss much!

Would be awesome if they were giving away keys to the new upcoming remake!

The version of System Shock sold on Steam, the Enhanced Edition, is entirely playable out-of-the-box without you needing to mess with emulation or settings. The game engine is still clunky compared to most other FPS games.
