I'm going to watch some B-movies in the near future due to the fact that we're going to play shows in this convention. Feel free to recommend me all the classics I should watch!

My list so far:
The Room
Samurai Cop
Braindead
Rubber

I depends on your definition of B-movies and what genres.

Also depends on wether you only want commercial releases and if you restrict yourself to english speaking.

Safe bets:

  • Hammer and Troma catalogs
  • Horror series such as Evil Dead, Romero's Dead or Return of the Living Dead.
  • Several Cronenberg
  • The Cube
  • The man who fell to the Earth
    . The man from Earth
  • Primer

Ticks (1993) - Enjoyably good.

Warlords (1988) - A badly acted, badly everything, HILARIOUS, sadly unknown and forgotten spaceshuttle-crash of a Mad Max rip off. David Carradine in the leading role and Syd Haig as the antagonist. THIS THING is a character in the movie.

It is certainly a classic... of sorts. Bit of a rough watch, but after that you are well prepared to watch Ed Wood by Tim Burton.

Fading of the Cries
Stonehenge Apocalypse
Aztec Rex
2-Headed Shark Attack (there is also a 3,5 & 6)
Carnosaur 1, 2 & 3
Zombeavers
Army of Frankensteins
In the Name of the King 1, 2 and 3 (can't go wrong with Uwe Boll)
The Legend of the Titanic (& it's sequal 'Tentacolino')
Pontypool (low budget but high quality)
Grave Encounters (a surprisingly good horror) and Grave Encounters 2 (which is very not good)
Repo! The Genetic Opera (an $8.5 million B-movie, only made $188,126 in the box office)
