Hmm, support is a hit or miss when it comes to Valve. I had 2 tickets with them, seperate occasions, but same type of subject. One took 1.5 months, the other took 2 hours.
This was over a year ago however, but am sure their support hasn't gotten better since then

I never had a ticket that wasn't answered in 3-4 days max, but I've heard horror stories about tickets left open for months, and then getting a completely irrelevant reply. It's been like this years ago and it's still like this today, as far as I know. You just gotta get lucky with them

i have one alt account that got blocked of buying in the store for no reason, after making a ticket and waiting a week they only answered (in spanish something like this): are you aware that you breaked the rules!!!!!!?????????? and closed the ticket...

You will be more disappointed when they actually respond from what I hear, but I personally had good experience with Steam Support.

What would be even MORE amazing would be if they were actually helpful or even barely competent.
NEVER had a satisfactory exchange with them ever, thankfully, they have been few.
Also it seems to take days (or even a couple weeks) to hear anything. Only for it to be garbage.

they are amazing fast right now for me, cause I have a day to day ping pong with support, but they are also amazing dumb. I always get variants of the same answer....that is unfortunately answering a total different issue...i did not asked for.

i had a ticket for like a month, closed it few weeks ago, cause didnt wanna wait anymore.. today i opened it again, does it happen randomly or is this in some of the steam support categories? Have anyone experienced really long waiting time this summer?
Also i remember how it was before the summer starts, i waited maximum around 3 - 4 days and this summer it took a month and still i didint receive an answer
