We're agree, but not on everything. I mean a 4-month old game shouldn't really get better discount than 33%, it's a great and adequate discount of it. While Alan Wake -80 instead of the usual -90, numerous games are daily picks with no additional discounts, monster game's unlocks are games given free or bundled numerous times or just random programs... I usually look after good deals below 5€ cause of backlog + bundles, but so far I also haven't really found anything that's "new" (though Outcast 1.1 -33% was good, I love the concept + dev team is great) just for reference: Hitman Contracts, Despair, Outcast 1.1, Left 4 Dead (for multi) - this is what I bought so far. I'm just not annoyed because of the unappealing deals because hey! I've got to keep my money, but there are quite some shady / lowball deals (also, Divinity Dragon Commander got a shallower discount than on ANY sale in past year, only -75 with absurd full price)

I believe the whole sale is one huge price glitch... Fifth day and I haven't seen any significant changes to games that end up as flash deals :/ god forbid I get something from my wishlist at an acceptable price, I'm practicly asking them to take my money and yet again, much like the Christmas sale, I'll end up with more cash earned than spent. First world problems in a third world country, yaay me.

Only Rome 1 ever had a 90% discount and that was a really long time ago, that being said these deals are a complete joke indeed.
Rome 2 is 75% off (not listed in the daily deal total war page despite it's image being used for the daily deal) and everything that came before that is a lousy 50% off despite some being bundled recently.
I was planning on getting some Coh2 DLC (which like TW is published by Sega) but after seeing this i'm not counting on a decent discount on those as well.
Honestly first region locks and now this, steam is slowly going from being the cheapest to being the most expensive online store.

No idea, I didn't have a great experience with DayZ when I last tried it a few months back but it seemed active. The main issue is with updating the game and keeping stuff working, I had to jump through hoops to get everything working together.
