I just noticed that my CV drops to a very suspicious number.
I've allways had CV of $xx.98 or something like that and couple of minutes ago it drops to $30.00 right in front of my eyes. It looks like someone just put it there out of nothing. And I'm asking of course: WHY?!
How is it possible that it drops like that? And don't tell me that it's because of my bundle giveaways, that's nonsense!
Please, I don't want to read your theories..I want some calculating of my CV...our dear admins allways tells about that annoucement of how to calculate your CV but I think they don't understand it either..
And by the way when I gave for example that Company of Heroes out, it wasn't on bundle list and it was tradable gift...

P.S.:
Sorry for any mistakes in my english, I hope you understand what I wanted to say. :)

EDIT:
look at this: Mr. One and Mr. Two
Mr. One has CV of $30 for 33p
Mr. Two has CV of $30 for 140p
both gave away games from bundle list...HOW is this possible?! HOW should I calculate my CV?!?!

It is because those were bundle giveaways. Chances are, one was missing from the list (it has happened before), and once that is noticed, it is corrected for all giveaways since that bundle released.

I don't want to call out but look at this: Mr. One and Mr. Two
Mr. One has CV of $30 for 33p
Mr. Two has CV of $30 for 140p
both gave away games from bundle list...HOW is this the best solution?! or better..HOW is this possible?! HOW should I calculate my CV?!?!

so you make the other people upset right? ..this is not how it should work..I'm okay with the percentage of CV for the bundle games or just 1$ CV for example.. that's not why I am upset, it's because nobody knows how to exactly calculate your CV...

Yes you know. You CV is (Non bundle CV + [Bundle CV≤0.25Non-bundleCV])

I'm not sure now if it was 20 or 25 % but you get it. Also my math notation might be a bit off.

I think it was clearly explained many times. For bundled games you get first 30 bucks, and after 30 bucks you get 20% of your non bundled games CV,

so if you giveaway bundle games for 40 bucks - CV 30, you add 20 bucks non bundled game - CV 54 [30+20+(20%of20)].

right or wrong?

Buddy after 8 months and you're worried about your cv just get a cheap not bundled game when on sale on steam like Just cause 2 or something and give it away... problem solved ;)

you really don't understand what I wanted to say right? I really don't care about my CV and I'm not gonna buy some game to give it away...I'm giving away games I don't want and could make someone else happy or games that are too long in my inventory...

All games with an behind there name on the 'create a giveaway' page are bundled games. And all the games you gave away have this .

Bundle list works retroactively.

It's because of your bundle giveaways

Looks like the missing Company of Heroes games were added into the Humble THQ Bundle on the Bundle List.

this is very stupid opinion do you know that?
in that case when you buy something in -75% sale, you should get that 25% CV right? ..because that's what I did with that Company of Heroes wiseman..

When did they implement that bundle list work retroactively? If I recall correctly, if you made the giveaway before the game was in a bundle, you recieved the full value.

Yup, one of the past bundles was missing from the bundle list, so any giveaway after the start date of that bundle got demoted to bundle status.

I see, but that only works for the giveaways made after the bundle came out, right? People here are claiming that if today one game was bundled, everyone that made a giveaway in the past will see their values capped.

Exactly. All games given away BEFORE being bundled, give you full CV. (Steam store USD).

What PE99 said, with emphasis on "being bundled", not "added to the bundle list".

Yes, that's what I was trying to say, but I got it wrong when I saw his other post about them "acting retroactively". It's all clear now, thanks.

Yeah, i should've stated that, it works retroactively to the day it was bundled. My bad!
