You can't craft the badge now. If you only wanted to show us how lucky you were getting a foil, you'd better run to the market to sell it before the price drops ;)

After it starts, all the accounts that never craft badges will unleash yet a few more millions of cards on the market. And not even St4ck, PalmDesert, and Striker have enough money to buy up so much to push the prices up. So this current 8-9 cent price might be the high point…
Also, Steam servers are generally fucked as hell during sales, so if you want to craft a lot, it is better to do now, when you don't have to refresh every 5 seconds because the community servers are not responding.

The event starts on the 22nd. Currently only those can acquire the event cards who craft badges; during the event, anyone can get the cards.
