Never understood why would anyone want a battery-operated electronic equipment for everyday use that needs to be plugged back in the charger daily. Yes, this includes many smartphones (my Lumia can easily live 5-7 days on one charge).
As for this one, this is for flaunting riches, like so many other expensive collector editions and whatnot. I am sure there will be enough rich kids to sell all of these headphones. And I am also relatively sure that a good chunk of the buyers are people who never played Assassin's Creed either.

This is probably more of a rant than a genuine case of not understanding something but in case it's the latter I feel I can explain. It's not as much that people want to recharge their equipment daily as it is a compromise. It's naturally possible to manufacture equipment that would run for weeks on one charge but then you'd have to sacrifice something else, like e.g. weight, performance or price. The vast majority of all consumers have no problem with recharging a device once a day.

I mean I'd just invest it. Should net around 2400 in returns a year, which I'd probably just let ride. Compound interest would make it over 100k by the time I retire even if I never added a cent to it, which would make a nice addition to the pension.

I'd buy the best gaming PC AND laptop.

And leftover money will be used on future hardware upgrades, although I don't think I can spend all of them before I pass away. :P

+1 Actually the best possible thing you can do. It's really interesting how 99% think about spending the money instead of saving it.
