I've only played about an hour of Mad Max, but I have a feeling it will get boring real fast

Depends if you played demon souls/dark souls.

Dark souls 2 is pretty much more of the same. They even copy paste some bosses in the game...

Voted for Mad Max, because i don't have anything that can run it heh.

I believe first dark souls is more fun than second. And since its very similar, I'd to for mad max to have something different.

Well, I've had more fun with DS II SotFS, specially because it has a lot more content.

Didn't you get feeling its a lot of copy paste content?

Not really, I believe you're referring to the Ornstein fight? It was a relatively easy fight, took me just one try, but most of the bosses are brand new, and overall, require different gameplay mechanics.

You kidding right? I don't meant they're copied from last souls game, but some are, i mean they're copied within dks2 itself. With little twist, like first you fight one, then you fight two the same at once (and this happens twice, once in base game, once in dlc...)

Overall dsk2 relies heavily on cheap increase of difficulty of simply throwing more bodies at you.

Very few bosses require that much different approach. Most you just shield up, stab in the ass.

I'm not kidding I'm talking for my perspective, which is clearly different from yours.

That happened thrice, I think. Still, there are easily above 50 or so unique enemies and around 25 or so unique bosses, I really don't see the problem with reusing something once or twice, given that around 90% of the experience is unique, and the times it does repeat, it is somewhat related to the intricate lore.

I didn't feel the game was being repetitive even once.... and I just ended the main campaign yesterday, Ill start with the DLC soon.

The "throwing more bodies at you" part is just wrong. This is not the case. from the start you're able to choose to fight 2-3 enemies at a time, or to engage in fights vs 8+ enemies if you choose to aggro them. This is persistent across the game,

Oh, you haven't been to ng+ haven't you? Nor DLC? Have fun :>

I'm not saying Dks2 is bad game, I'm saying it has lot more repetition than first two games. In Demon Souls each boss was whole world different. In Dark Souls some felt bit familiar but still enough diversion.

Downright copy-paste seems like letdown.

They are two completly different genres, so it just depends on what kind of game you prefer.
Booth aren't bad games, but you haven't even finished the first Dark Souls game, the second is just kinda more of the same, so it might make more sense to just finish the first one at first, before buying the second one xD

If you like hack & slash, Dark Souls II is more or less an infinite one, like the Diablo series. Only the story is darker, even more impossible to follow coherently, and instead of getting killed by groups of 100-200 monsters all the time, you get killed by a few random enemies that hit like a truck regardless of equipment or levels all the time.

it really isn't hack & slash, you'll never finish the game playing like that...

Well, it isn't cRPG either, so it has to be classified under an ARPG sub-genre. Plus hack & slash can mean strategic and thoughtful combat, not just mindless button mashing.

Haven't really played Dark souls, only because I'm the guy who likes to charge in randomly, and not follow how the game wants you to attack.
Played Mad Max for a good awhile, but got repetitive.

There are many different ways to attack in Dark Souls. What weapon you are using, how heavy is your armor, what spells you are using will change a lot how you fight. But charging randomly will get you killed. Fast.

I've completed both games (not 100% though) and I can say both games are good. It depends on what you're more into, I'd recommend getting both when you can but for now, if you have dark souls maybe get mad max now and dark souls 2. Personally I enjoyed dark souls 2 more though and it isn't required to please played number 1 before playing number 2. I actually did it that way and am playing through number 2 now. Ultimately I would chose ds2 over mad max though. Entirely up to you though depending on what sort of game you prefer.

If you have played Arkham Series or Shadow of Morder and enjoyed them you will enjoy MAd MAx too.
(Same developer, same idea, diffent content)
You have a ride and you explore around and fighting is aboutpressing buttons on correct time.

Dark Souls is a totally different experience.
You die and learn where and which enemies will come.
You start over and over again.
A bit pain in the ass.
Tortures you but also satisfies you more.
