Origin is WAY BETTER than uPlay and isn't so far away from Steam, just saying my opinion, I will never get why people hate everything EA-related so much.

I'm not completely saying I like all of their politics, just that they do offer better services than Ubisoft.
Besides, if you can't come up with anything else but some insult at the same level as calling somebody "faggot", then I may proceed to consider your point invalid as well, just saying.

i totally agree with origin being better then u-play, however i disagree that origin is close to steam. In my opinion EA doesn't even get enough hate for their policies and actions.
My personal experience with them has always been horrible,i think my most weird story with them is when i bought a physical copy of kingdoms of amalur. it was my first game for origin. The first thing i did was open the case and go reddem the code on origin, to my surprise it replyed that the code was invalid. I thought to myself maybe i counfused O with 0 or l with I. after trying all possible combinations i always got the error.Lastly i decided to contact live support, meanwhile i tryed to install from disc which it said it required that i had origin intalled (which i had). If i clicked to cancel origin install it wouldn't install the game and if i clicked yes it said origin was installed and stopped the instalation of the game. After this i unstalled origin and installed by disc. After origin was installed before installing the game it asked me the code of the game. I intruduced it again and it redeemed. In short, to redeem the key i had to install from disc, this was not mention anywhere on the 3 page manual.
Personally i have the following problems with EA:
1) day 1 DLC
2) online pass
3) "destroying" westwood
4) "destroying" bioware
5) removing content from the game to make DLC
6) battlelog
7) microtransations shoved in after paying for the game
8) exclusive origin games
9) dungeon keeper made for ios instead of PC
10) rushed games
Those are my main gripes with EA and because of those i don't buy EA games anymore. I'm pretty sure that more arguments can be risen against them and very few things can be said to defend them.

1), 2), 5), 7), and 10) can also be said for most other big publishers, really.
to 3) and 4) i can only say that EA also made some companies and even whole genres possible (like the whole god game genre; no one else wanted to publish Populous at the time).
6) yes, the new service EA uses for only very few games of a single series (BF3+4) makes the whole company totally evil! ^^ btw, is this really a EA thing, or did Dice develop the Battlelog?
8) but Steam exclusive games are ok? lol.
9) yeah, that one was disappointing, i'll give you that.

I hate EA but Origin is actually better than UPlay at this point. At least you don't get 2 layers of proprietary laggy DRM.

Love how often the company gets blamed when often its the government in that particular area that raises fuss about some things, and the company simply deciding to not comply with what the government in that area wants.
I still remember when Left4Dead was not even going to be released in Germany due to at first they refused to censor the game for the government standards. Eventually they changed their minds and.. man did they get such a crappy version. At first Valve was blamed big time. Only later on people started realizing it was not Valve's fault. People need to think more before they react.

Not entirely true. Government in my country don't care to forbid any video games at all, yet we get screwed a lot in most of region restricted games (like forced to play in Russian servers while most <30 yr old ppl don't understand it at all).
Sometimes it gets fixed when unfair restriction hatred gets out in larger mass, like borderlands 2 instance.

Ubisoft has changed tack and said it is "aiming" for 60fps for the launch version of The Crew on PC.
Writing on the Ubisoft forum, community manager Natchai said the developers were "working on getting 60fps for PC".
"The reason you could alter the FPS in the config file is because our team is actually working on getting 60fps for PC. The reason why it hasn't been communicated before this is because we didn't want to make a promise we couldn't deliver on.
"But read this correctly:
"We are aiming at a 60fps on PC for the launch of the game and the actual beta doesn't represent the final game."
Let's see if they keep their word...
