Pokemon games

I only own Crystal and Sapphire atm, but I plan on getting 3DS XL and X or Y.

I've played Red/Yellow a long time ago when I was younger, look forward to jumping back into it.

I played Red, Blue, Yellow, TCG, Pinball, and Gold on Gameboy. Then, I played Crystal and Emerald on gameboy emu. I stopped playing Pokemon, and now I'm wondering if it's worth it to buy a 3DS XL just for X or Y.... :(

Haven't owned Silver, Diamond, White, White 2, any of the Mystery Dungeons, Dash, Typing or Puzzle for the various hand held systems the series was released. That list was shorter.

Only ever had the main series games and both pinball games. Don't have the pinballs anymore unfortunately. They were fun. Had Red, Blue and Yellow. Gave away Red to a friend and lost Yellow and Blue in a fire. Bought a new copy of Blue a while ago though that I still have. Had Gold and Silver but no longer have either of them due to the fire. Never had Crystal. Still have my Sapphire. Had Fire Red but have no idea what even happened to it. Never had the others for gen 3. Still have my Diamond and Soul Silver, but that's it for gen 4. And I have Black and Black 2 for gen 5. Plan on getting X for gen 6.

blue, silver, and later bought emerald when I saw it in a used game bin for nostalgia(which I'm too young to have...so on a whim i guess).(had decided I outgrew pokemon when ruby/sapphire came out or something)

You know what sucks? I own Red, Yellow, a Gameboy, a Gameboy Color, and a Link Cable that is cross-compatible with both. However, due to the exclusives in each game, I can get every Pokemon except Magmar. Dx

Used to own Red, Silver, Gold & FireRed. Still got Crystal except it doesn't work anymore. I've played most of the them though.

Seeing all these people talking about buying a 3DS for X and Y.

Honestly, I don't think there are enough games to compel me to buy it. Only Rumble:Blast, honestly. Maybe a new Phoenix Wright or a new Okami on it would change my mind and might give me reason to buy it, but it's Capcom. They haven't touched their DS games since 2010. :/

Basically one game from wach gen for me, usually the cooler colored one, as opposed to warm colors.

Red Rescue Team will always be my favorite Pokemon game, with Emerald as a close second.

I'm trying to collect them, i just need Pinball R/S to complete Gen 1-3 British and Red,Blue,Emerald,Firered,Leafgreen in japanese. (unless I'm forgetting some) Then i will move on to concentrating on Gen 4.

I don't own them anymore, but I played every single game on that list (except TCG).

My latest favourite one is definitely Pokemon Conquest, you should get it :)
And I am really psyched for X & Y!

I rank them in generations to be 2 > 1 > 4 > 3 > 5.2 > 5.1

Mystery Dungeon games were nice on the DS as well.
