help me port foward this shit

hello steaming gifteriangs or whatever the hell you are called, i need help with portfowarding, now the problem here resides in that my router page (which is a dcw725 router) doesnt have the options its suppose to have, i looked up guides, this is the menu that its suppose to have a dcw725 thomson router yet mine looks like a DWG855

now apart from that problem its seems the options in my page are only software and connections, its suppose to have more yet i cant seem to open them.

pleh.

ps: on an unrelated note, videos in youtube for me dont play, and the quick link option in the new tab dont appear either.

i have heard of firmwares, that yo0u ahve to download them from your router page, but i cant seem to be able to do that, guess thats the main problem

Look for another firmware, maybe there is something else (like dd-wrt, often used with linksys).

Is this the same router that you bundled or free with your ISP? I suspect that they firmware locked your router.

I suggest searching in google to get the admin/root access and password that the technician from your ISPs uses. If you're lucky, you'll get it. (I've done it before with telus and their own modem)

i dont remember since i wasnt there but im pretty sure it came with our isp

how is that password/admin different from the one i currently use (i also found it on the internet since i didint know which one would it be)

EDIT: scuse my ignorace guys, it seems the model is actually RCA dcw725

update/bump, not that anyone cares but i finally got it.

it seems this isp (called telmex) automatically blocks administrator options and you are required to call them if you want to change something in them, i guess they dont want idiots screwing their own shit again and again, but you can still click links and get to said options.
