Any game that is controlled solely by arrow keys, you can remap to WASD and play. First game that comes to mind is Stephen's Sausage Roll, a puzzle game similar to Sokoban. But im sure there are others in other genres. Hope your hands heal soon!

Point and click, simple puzzle, time management, and fmv games should do well for one hand use. I'm not sure if you like the genre from your game list though. Checking from my latest games, here's some that fits:

Assign one left click, one right click, and one space button to the mouse.

Before the surgery I was getting by with M+KB but reducing usage of the mouse. I tried Warzone but I was in pain after a few sessions and later switched to using the xbox one joystick as mouse.
Now I'm trying to type and it's just slower, but works so far. I'm sure FTL will work great!!

Not on steam but on ubisoft is Trackmania 2020. Easily playable with one hand on keyboard and free on top of that. Considering you played a lot of Rocket League and competetive games like CS, I reckon you might enjoy this one.

Don't have a recommendation, sorry, but this reminded me of 10 years ago, when I was playing God of War on PS2, and at some point I broke my right hand, and couldn't finish the game then. I was so pissed lol so I feel you.

Hey guys! Long time no see...
So, I've been quite busy these past few years with work, but always found some time in the weekend to play games. That however has changed since I had an accident involving my motorcycle and a truck, which ended with both hands broken and the right one needing surgery.
While waiting for the appointment I was able to play for a bit these past few days, but today I had the surgery which involves an immobilizer for my right thumb (fracture was on the scaphoid for those interested), so my mobility just went to crap.
Anyways, introductions aside, I am now looking for games that I can play with my left hand only. While it also has a few broken bones, I still have nearly full mobility and no cast on it.
I am confident I should be able to play some VR games such as Pistol Whip and Beat Saber, and will definitely do, but I would love to read some suggestions from you guys on what games I might be able to play single-handed.
For the curious ones, you can check my steam account for games I have and go from there, or you could suggest one I don't have and I'll take a look at it.
