So using this new Spring Cleaning event, I got to see what my first steam game I had was. And it wasn't what I thought it was.
So, as usual, I got to thinking. What was your first steam game?
Mine was Dark Messiah of Might & Magic. Game had SUCH potential, but the game breaking bugs killed it for me.

So, what was your first steam game?

Edit- Added a small GA for you all as thanks for making this the most successful topic I have ever made on SG.

Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War with all its expansions (The first one). I always prefered DRM free and avoided steam until a friend sent me a link that a certain place called humble bundle was giving away the entire collection for free. That was all it took for me to crack and give in and make a steam account and now look at me. Lol.

Portal 2. My friend gifted it to me so we can play together and that's how my downward spiral to PC gaming begun.

Max Payne and Max Payne 2. I had played them way before buying them on steam, but wanted to play them again.
That was the beginning of this journey...

Empire : Total War. Still a very good strategy game! For me the first game that had to be activated on Steam.

Just Cause 2, of course. Some here may remember that it was my favorite game for a very long time.

The Orange Box, so Portal / Team Fortress 2 / Half-Life 2. Only really bought it for Portal though, and was kind of pissed off when I found out I needed to sign up to an online service (Steam) to use my disc.
