As always some cringe characters and poorly written story, but visually it looks good. As with all NFS games, handling is ridiculous, but not horrible. Drifting is quite fun.
You get some decent visual upgrades you can do to the cars. Also pretty good selection of cars. I like that you can do different types of builds (drift, race, offroad etc). Performances tuning is stupid - basically you win or buy performance cards that you put on the car - no connection to real tuning parts or companies or whatever. So if you are a car guy this really is not going to be fun.(e.g. no turbo conversion or engine swap or whatever.. just "exhaust mod" that gives randomly boost to brakes and "jump" characteristic)
Obviously they have tried to go in the direction of Horizon Forza. With offroading and open world map. You also get "barn finds" that you have to find parts for over the map.
There simply is not an "good, bd or average" rating to give. And for 3 bucks I believe there really is no reason not to try it out. For me its interesting.

So after buying the game for -90%, i have asked for a refund after 30 minutes (refund get), because the game in unplayable for me, many freeze (1-2 freeze every 3 seconds), even with low graphics and low resolution.
A shame because i have play recently Gravel / Dirt 5 and Hotwheels unleashed with low - mid graphics but full resolution without any problem ...

Have you really even tried to search for a solution first?

What OS are you running and how much ram you have? Don't say you running windows 10 with 4gb please. :p
Google also finds many results (and a youtube clip with a possible fix for mirror's Edge) so atleast you aren't the only one.

Some bad luck.
I have stuttering at times as well, but overall can play it decently. Had something similar with Need for Speed game (the one without any additional namings.. just NFS.. relatively new one) ... everything is working fine on my PC, but it seems if you have slower HDD it can't load map fast enough and you fall through the road and lose races....
Basically unplayable until you get fast HDD or SSD ... but the game is still sort of old, so it feels more like an overlook on their part.

It's free to play now on Steam until tomorrow, in case you're still unsure if to get it or not:

I got it when it came out at the full price. All the slot machine animations were enough to turn it off, as I really dislike the idea of gambling in real life.
The game didn't seem that fun either. Getting NFS Heat from Amazon Prime is probably a better deal, especially if you already have Prime or can get a free trial.
