Hello there!
So , I'm quite not sure how the steam levelling system works. Here's my story along with a few questions in the end.

My steam account is 5 years old(and still limited). I've been collecting free steam games from giveaways from discord, or alienware arena and from a lot more places. All of the keys I got have been redeemed on my account. Does steam give xp for games acquired via steam keys? If yes, will I be given the xp for all those games i've redeemed after i unlock my account ? Also, I've seen alot of steam profiles with a badge called 'years of service' which shows how many years old their account is. So if i unlock my account now or anytime in the near future, will i be given that badge along with the other badges like for 3 and 4 years? (sorry for any grammar mistake ).

Ok thanks for letting me know about the discussion above. Alright, I know now that I'll get the XP from the badges. Now I need to know about the keys because , out of my 30 games on my profile. 25 of them have been acquired through steam keys for free XD

If the game is not free to play you will get xp but it is almost nothing (1 xp per game, i think).

You will need to spend at least $5.00 USD within the Steam store to unlock your Steam account
Limited Steam accounts are locked to level 0 and cannot level up

Hello there. Yes, you will get the year of service badge. When the limit is removed, your level will increase directly. You get xp for every +1 game when you add to Steam. (For every game on the games tab in your profile. But that badge doesn't give too much xp.) There is a badge called the community leader. By doing tasks you can get 500 xp. It is not very difficult. As a simple task, you can turn a worthless item in your inventory into gem and get the gem maker badge. It will give you 100 xp.(Only 1 time) If you want to level up your steam, you need to process game badges. (You can get emoticons and profile backgrounds by crafting badges.) You can easily reach level 10. (You can get a profile showcase every 10 levels. So you can edit and beautify your profile.) Here you can learn what you can get when you remove the account limitation. https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=3330-iagk-7663&l=english Have a good day :)

Limited accounts cant post on discussions or interact with any community feature, like review, follow curators, add friends, etc. They can do that only once they upload at leat 5$ to their account or purchase a game directly on steam for that, or higher amount. So that is not an option for this user.

You can buy steam keys for games, which weren't bundled too. ;)

Uhh... just as developers can generate keys for bundle site, they can generate them for other sellers too.
You can buy games which weren't bundled on most of the bundle sites too (Fanatical, Humble Bundle, etc.).

Steam keys from discord giveaways :) and also , recently dying light : bad blood was free till 3rd March to play (not to keey it forever). So I just added it to my library and it accounted for the 100 $ (sg cannot count free to play limited games as free, it counts them as paid , just as it did for dying light :)

When I joined, it was entirely on gifts from users on a GameFAQs forum. Couldn't buy Steam games myself, but had been gifted both bundle keys and Steam gifts, over 100 in total.

Most of the people who would regularly gift games had no problem with me, I couldn't do digital gifts, but was known to send out physical console games instead. International shipping and all. Was a bit limited in what I could send to the US thanks to region locked systems, but PSP and Nintendo handheld games were fine. I was insane back then.

Spend 5$ on steam(I'm assuming you are Indian, considering your name) and buy anything for someone and gift them that thing(and they give you money ), and that you you become UNLIMITED on steam for free...... or some small tax sometimes..... depending on whom you're dealing with.

Exactly, I'm an Indian and here in India, you aren't supposed to spend money on games (parents don't allow sadly :( )
Edit : Not even if you're getting the money back :(
