Portal Bundle - Portal 2 General Discussion
At the bottom, someone states that they were given an extra copy of Portal 2 upon purchasing the Portal Bundle.
You could try it yourself. Add the bundle to your cart and proceed to checkout. DON'T finalize the payment at see if you get the same warning screen as stated in the picture in your own post.

Yes, you will receive the extra Portal game. I already had Portal 2 when I bought the Portal Bundle to get the first game for me, and gift the second to a friend, and it worked just fine. Once it is activated, the extra copy will appear in your Inventory.

Not sure, but I believe it has something to do with the this statement under "Additional Information":
"OnPurchaseGrantGuestPassPackage : Portal (7355)

I've tried for so long on SteamGifts but have never won Portal 1, and now that there's another Portal sale, I kinda just wanna buy it instead. But here's the thing, I already own Portal 2, so the cheapest way to get Portal 1 is by buying the Portal bundle. But that's only if an extra copy of Portal 2 is gifted to me. I've checked the Steam Support page regarding Extra Copies, and it states I'll get extra copies for L4D1, HL2, HL2:E1, DoW2, 4 packs and any limited promotions.
But then further down the page, it says that the Portal bundle will grant an extra Portal 1. So I really don't know what to believe when the page said These promotion do not apply to any games other than those specifically listed.
Has anyone actually been in this situation and redeemed a Portal bundle when they only owned Portal 2 prior?
