Quick question about groups

So just to make sure, say i want to give away a game only to friends from a forum i go to, if we're all in the same Steam group only them will be able to join the giveaway and as long as two people join the giveaway i will get full contributor value for that game?

SteamGifts is really good if you have a lan party and want to give out random prizes. They could all join a group, and its fair.

Ya it is, but i have one concern, what prevents people from abusing of this?

I'm obviously not gonna do that but what would prevent someone from making a giveaway for friends, marking the gift as sent and received and the person who ''won'' giving the game back to the maker of the giveaway?

Some people hound the recently received tab on the homepage, or whatever it may be called to make sure winners redeem what they have marked as received, people who do what you described get picked up in this way as well
