What do you like better? San Andreas or Gta4?

San Andreas. They took themselves too seriously with GTAIV and also reduced freedom a lot. Not to mention how shitty the optimization is.

Vice City all the way, had so much fun playing it.

I spent at least a hundred times more time in San Andreas than in GTA4.

I like San Andreas map, but I love the mechanics and seriousness of GTA 4. I hope they maintain the grittiness, although I don't mind if they have fun with it.

San Andreas is more fun, GTA4 looks better. but some don't care about last.

Vice City remains my favorite. Right mixture of funny and serious, the '80 setting and no pointless (+boring) side activities (yeah, let's play a crappy fake basketball or be Nikomycousin'ed all day long).

San Andreas, my favorite GTA. Huge map, fun gameplay and great missions with cool story. I hope GTA V is like SA, and I also want a way better port than IV was.

GTA II and London 1969.

Serious while not trying to be all touchy feely as in GTA IV and fun as hell. I couldn't have much fun with Vice City, and III was too clunky (i guess it was the 2D/3D change), San Andreas was great, and had much more freedom than IV. Would be nice to see some features from the first ones and SA be brought back to V, if at all possible.

Like GTA 4 but wait GTA5

GTAIV. Shooting mechanics felt better, i prefer the car handling of IV and the physics and all that shit. Don't forget about Multiplayer (Online and LAN!).
Though Games for Windows Live and all nonsense that sucks hard.

Vice City was fun. San Andreas might be the better game if the wilderness section was smaller and less mountainous. So much time driving around hills that my car can't climb or dead space where nothing ever distracts you from seeing the same patch of green.

For me the best is still GTA III. Vice was fun but for me better city and atmoshpere was in 2001 Liberty City...For me ideal size to riding without a purpose. Also it has great mod making ALL cars in this game in HD version by OnePiece. Just search in Google and go find yourself.

And if I must choose between GTA:SA and GTA IV I preffer more IV, because that "gangsta" style is not for me and it was too huge map to riding.

Even though I've never played San Andreas, I like it more than GTA IV. .__.

GTA 4

Andreas for sure. GTA4 is one of the most boring games ive ever played and I've played Desert Bus

4 for the graphics and physics and SA for the size and variability.

i think they're both really REALLY good games, i loved gta iv look at all my time in it.

But when it comes down to the better game that had more to offer: gta san andreas wins

Never played IV, but I'm enjoying San Andreas (and its multiplayer mod).
