So i have two tickets opened in support one from 3 years ago and the other one from two weeks ago without any response yet, is something wrong with the support of the page?

If you don't mind me asking what are the tickets about (without naming any users) ? There are a lot of rules and unwritten rules on this site and a lot of tickets turn out to be irrelevant so they don't get adressed because Support is highly understaffed.

the ticket from 3 years ago i just closed it because the user doesnt use SG anymore, the other one is because i accidentally marked a gifted as received and when i realised i couldnt change the option.

Ok. The second ticket about changing feedback should definitely be adressed (actually rather high priority since it keeps you from entering SGTools GAs and might get you false reports for not activated wins). Under what category did you file the 2nd ticket ? Just asking because I'm surprised they didn't add a new Ticket category "Change Feedback" now feedback gets locked in after a month has passed.

i filed in other because it didnt fit in other options.

Yeah, Other seems to be the right choice. The problem is probably that Other most likely has the highest percentage of irrelevant tickets (i.e. GA creator declined my friend request and is ignoring me eventhough the GA I won already ended almost 2 hours ago. Permaban!) so your ticket probably got overlooked among all the nonsense tickets although yours is relevant.

They should really make a new category for Change feedback. Maybe I'll bring it up when I have more time if nobody has done so by then.

The only wrong thing with the support is that there should be much more people.
The ones that are already in there are doing a great job <3

If they would do, then we wouldnt wait more than 1 year for a response.

+1

i'll also add that "pretty much satisfied" users (like me) don't usually show up (and that's pretty much... normal :D)

The problem is among all the users who know what they are talking about (bonus points for being uncontroversial, well-known and well-respected) apparently nobody is willing to do it.

I was considering it a while ago (if I only got to do the easy tickets like rerolls, suspensions for non-activations & multiwins and so on) but by now I've changed my mind to Hell no!

There are probably 1 or 2 dozen other users I would suggest but you or REDACTED know what you're talking about and would make good mods.

Would you be willing to do it ? :D

No, I did way too much of online moderation already. This is a question of administration, it is up to cg to sort this out, sadly.

That was exactly the point I was trying to make. I wouldn't do ungrateful volunteer work that doesn't give me any benefit whatsoever neither. But I'm afraid cg can't conjure people who fit the criteria I mentioned above and would be willing to do it out of thin air.

Sorry, didn't want to put anybody on the spot just trying to prove my point ;)

I had a few tickets go unanswered for over a week but I guess they are either understaffed or the tickets were considered irrelevant, anyway, a simple line explaining what was wrong with the ticket would have been enough.

They usually answer them................never! Or they just close them without an answer. :P Sorry. They only check the reroll tickets, but I think they're not so fast as they used to be anymore.

If I remember correctly 2 of them from the last recruitment drive got fed up with all the BS they get to hear on a daily basis and quit.

I know that some of them stopped being support members, but well, with great power comes great responsibility.........and hate. :P

Yes, they do just 1 ticket each day. Thats why it takes ages to answer all tickets.

I have many "fakes" and "not received" opened tickets stayed open for 1 year too. I doubt they will suspend the users after one year -.- Later they will just close the ticket and say to me, "Hey we suspended the user long time ago" like the always said to me -.-

You'll have to have some patience. I made a ticket once about a serial scammer and I did get a response around one year later. Also it appears that some of the last group of moderators, who were elected by SG support are not active anymore.
