I've never had a problem with Avast. But this will be useful if I encounter the same thing.

Sure, use free shitty antivirus and complain that it don't work as it should.

Just download G Data and you will have 30 days of free updates and after that program will still work. You can jump between it and Kaspersky trials etc.

Don't all AV work like that? 30 days free updates followed by no updates yet it still works?

Kaspersky refuses to work after this time, same with many others.

Use avira free and you will be happy forever.
That and Malwarebytes and Spybot Search and Destroy once a month is everything you will ever need.

The only option is to delete your steam library and re-download everything. You better do it fast because the virus might spread to people in your friends list and then they will have to do the same.

The only option is you have to find a magician to ask him purificate your steam =D

This must be incorrect, Steam is actually Spyware. Please update your antivirus.

Yeah use eset! And have fun! You wanna do anything? You cannot! Because the eset cannot shut up and all the things you wanna install is a biiiiiiiig viruuuuuuuus! Oh almost forget:pay for it! Or use avast and try default setting with these: heuristic low. I'am use avast many years better than payable brothers...

MOD: thinking, have any update in steam that time? Yes it was... Have some malfunction the steam update/˝20min and go okay... so you suck, logged in that time/
