I'm guilty of voting on the "potato" option in polls here in the past, when it was new and still a bit funny.
The thing with me is, I enjoy memes or trend before they become ones. After that, it just becomes overused and loses its funny or entertaining side, and is just plain old annoying.

It's not being a hipster if you don't like it when people won't shut up about something constantly. If someone would tell you the same joke everyday without stopping, you'd be annoyed by them. It's pretty much the same thing.

The potato meme seriously needs to just die. It's been way overused and it was never funny to begin with. I do like some memes though, which aren't present on this site. My fiancé and I tend to use certain ones to joke around with each other.
