I am not sure what to look for in that XML wall, but I've found the reason on SteamDB. Wonder why it doesn't show directly on the profile though.
Edit: seems like they don't show on the profile anymore if they're older than 7 years:

oh yea, that's it. the rules were hidden when i tried to enter, but it looks like that was changed now
steam removes the cool red text from your profile after a while but you get to keep the other benefits :D
