3DS vs 3DS XL (Do the pixels look bad, portability)

The 3DS XL is huuuuge.It doesn't fit in most pockets.

The graphics aren't that much different imo,it only really is ugly when you play DS games.

I have large hands and fat sausage fingers, so when I get one soon I plan on getting the 3DS XL

The 3DS XL is great, the only problem is, depending on the situation, it's size. The graphics don't look bad, gaames are usually better to play at, because it allows more precision and better view of things. But as wuut said, it doesn't fit in pockets.

The XL retains a pretty crisp picture despite the larger screen, IMO. Also, DS games look really great on it.

The buttons on it are also a little better and the 3D slider no longer glows green all the time like on the original 3DS.

The XL does fit into pockets, unless you have unusually small pockets. Games look amazing on the XL as well.
Edit: Maybe I just have more spacious than usual pockets than everyone else. O.o

I can fit my XL into my pocket, and the pocket I just put it in is pretty small. It sticks out by a couple of inches, but it fits. The games look fine on it. When you're playing normal DS games, there's a black border at the sides of the screen, so it looks like you're playing it on a normal 3DS/DS. But it's hardly noticeable.

I originally bought an original 3ds...I wear XXL gloves. I would get hand cramps every single time I picked the thing up. Then, I upgraded to the XL and bam, instant comfort. Oh and to answer your question, yeah, you can notice it on fine textures, but it's not huge. the XL is definitely the way to go.

The XL can fit in pockets, but it feels and looks kinda awkward to walk around with one. I find the XL retains pixel quality quite well, about the same as the 3DS. I personally like the XL because the weight feels better and overall feels more satisfying in my hands. Also you really appreciate the larger screens.
