hi! well, on this site the giveaways are made by real users. if you can't find a game, it's because no user has created a giveaway for it. you may have to wait a while, or look at the deals section in the forums to see if you can find the game you're looking for in a bundle or with a discount. another good site to check for deals is IsThereAnyDeal

You can easily search for any game here by going to the steam store page of the game you want to check and copying the app id number (the numbers after the /app/ part of the steam link ) and then adding them to (https://www.steamgifts.com/app/) (for bundles you need to add it to https://www.steamgifts.com/sub/)..
For example for The Forever Winter the app id is 2828860 so you need to go to https://www.steamgifts.com/app/2828860 (here).

Giveaway archive works as well, not even appID needed https://www.steamgifts.com/archive/search?q=Forever%20winter

Completely forgot about the archive is there a button for it that I'm missing or can you only open it by manually entering the link?

There is a link at the very bottom of SG.

Your chances of getting a specific unbundled game that has only been given away once in the history of SG is basically zero. You may be misunderstanding what this site is.

Yep, my thoughts exactly.

Let’s just make one thing clear, this site isn’t for begging.
Steamgifts is a site full of users who give away games of their own volition, in what are basically raffles.
The vast majority of these games are from game bundles, and so the chances of seeing rare, unbundled games is extremely low.
Much less is the chance of winning one of these rare, unbundled games.
You are best to save $1 a week, and buy the game for yourself for Christmas.

I’ll be blunt though: if you stopped playing games so much and actually got a job, you would be able to buy the game next week.

But playing 24/7 for 2 weeks and managing to play an extra 21h on top of that is pretty impressive tho 😋

To be fair, Wallpaper Engine will give you crazy playing times like that. If you leave your computer on, Stem will count you playing literally 24/7.
That's the crazy side of Steam getting into the utility tools business I guess.

If you add "idler" games (I really don't see the point personally but to each their own) to that, you can rack up Tardis times

That makes sense :)

Still seems a waste of energy to leave your computer running something like Wallpaper Engine 24/7 but the numbers at least make sense yes.
