you can't do anything else than "deleting" licenses and removing all achievements with SAM.

Did you try to mark the game not interested, or writing a negative review *maybe*? I guess those would suppress the recommendations, but who knows :\

It's explained on the delete page, your previous game time and achievements are with you always. They don't go away. Also if you rebuy that game they will give you with the same key.

Most likely not but if it's any comfort at all, those suggestions are practically useless anyway :P

It seems the new steam system of recommending games doesn't work as thy expected. :/

Would be nice to have a system which lets you mark games you like or dislike and recommends stuff mostly based upon that.
There are the reviews, but that forces you to write a review and that can get tedious, and I'm not even sure it counts in the recommendation system.

steam suggestions are bad anyway, I wouldn't bother

I asked support once and they said no, they do not have the ability to edit those parts of the database.
Could have been a simple canned "fuck off" answer, but I kinda feel they really cannot, that should be something only a Valve admin could do.

Oh. And here I thought I could maybe make these suggestions work better by deleting a bunch of idled trash. Thanks for the warning, you've saved me some time.
