Usually edited to the post. I got tired of writing the same few things to new people, and I started to do this. At the end of a long day, I can get pretty jaded, so this keeps me from being too salty as well.

Knowing that this kind of behaviour is more or less the norm on this side of the continent, I don't know whether I should almost feel sorry for him for spreading the "Balkans-esque" life all over the internet, or feel ashamed that we are like that in this region.

It is, yes, but it is also seeped into this region, its people. We are, in a sense, just used to this. Urbanisation seems to help in many places, but only to a degree.
