Got there when 88 keys were available refreshed and still 55 keys left but, unfortunatly i was not able to claim one this time TBH never had this issue before
Unfortunately, a key could not be assigned to you. This can occur for one of several reasons, including:
1) We've ran out of keys before we could assign one to you while you were in the queue.
2) You are in a country or region that is not eligible to receive a key.
3) A key has already been assigned to you.
4) reCAPTCHA validation failure.

I was coming to the thread to say just that, especially to the extra-nice person who "gave away" FIVE copies of the game. I hope they all enjoy their 0 CV.
This is why I understand Masafor's crusade against bots, multi-accounts and this kind of "gifting" on this site.

I would like to write very much but it would all be seen as calling out.
But two additions.
First thanks, that you bring the thread, and the problem, up.
Maybe at some point such users will recieve perma suspensions (the hope dies at last).
And second.
Only around 75 user reports from me could be handled at some point in the future and 199 autojoiner reports that i done with one of my group members.
I retired from the ticket/reports/hunting front around 1 week ago.
Call it "i gave up" because it is a, extreme lifetime wasting, fight against windmills that isn't supported from cg, server sided (checks etc.), in any way.

He just meant that in English the phrase in question should be written in a different way (the most frequent being "hope is the last to die"). In the manner in which it was written, it indicates the opposite (since "at last" equates "finally", so it would result in a meaning similar to "the hope finally dies"). The show from the link had a character that frequently wanted to say something but always ended up unintentionally saying it with opposite meanings.
So, long story short: Xarabas was pointing out that issue in the phrase in question. For reference, it is a common occurrence in German <> English sentence translation (I myself usually do much worse when trying to build proper German sentences, not being a native speaker).

If they're not breaking rules on SG, then reporting them here will do nothing. The only thing one can do is report multiaccounters to the site they are stealing from, but that's not an easy task.
I was chatting to a dev who gave away many copies of their game in Discord. It got posted here on SG and kinda went crazy from there.
He was feeling overwhelmed that people were botting the keys and making several accounts to get several copies and they were looking at the GAs here. Then demanding keys when they couldn't keep up with demand. Some users here were giving away 10 and 15 copies. I suggested to revoke unused keys after a certain time. So he did, he put up a notice saying that unused keys would expire in 48 hours. It's terrible that there are people out there doing crap like this. They were giving the game as a little something for people who were in lockdown during the worst of the pandemic. It was nice of them, and then people just went and ruined their goodwill.

I know that they don't break existing rules on sg.
I don't report them here.
But sites should think about if they really need and want such members because i seen never (in 30 years online) cheaters that only cheated on one site. And it is clearly visible that this accounts try to find loopholes and abuse sg as much as possible. It is visible too that it harms sg in different ways.
Not to talk from all the work that the mods have because of such people.

Sure, everyone has a reason why they missed the giveaway, but I was talking about my own experience. I was on time, but both the site and the app gave me a bad getaway error and it was the first time that happened to me. That reason does not apply to everyone as obviously lots of people were able to grab a key, some more than one. Not sure why you singled out my comment. O_o
