I have a lot of thoughts about the proximity of "Kappadokya".

As far as I know, there were so many earthquakes after the first report, and I have heard that the number of collapsed buildings increased after the second earthquake.😥
As for the news reports, it is now 1:00 a.m. and I believe that in the morning, people in East Asia will also be actively responding to the relief efforts.
I hope that nothing serious will happen to the people of Turkey and Syria.

Horrible news. And sadly it won't change their mind about building a nuclear plant close by, in the Anatolian fault line.

What if thats a warning from allah ? Or even a punishment.
Many reasons why.
They are blocking new NATO members. Threatening european countries.
Making deals with murderer putin and ruSS tourists.
Imperialistic approach, Kurds issue, Armenian genocide.
Simply god can have it enough.
If someone is religious its a serious nut to crack. Theres a god and gods doings. I didnt happend just because if you see allah everywhere.

sth to think about

Edit:
I dont know how to describe this event. Compared with war and constant, everyday threat lasting almost a year in Ukraine. Thats a real tragedy. You dont know if you will live for the next day.

Please, this is a natural disaster, don't equate it with greed for power, it has nothing to do with power politics

If there was a God punishing countries for their wrong doings, there would be an eartquake every day pretty much everywhere on earth.

I didn't understand what you meant. However, if God were to punish crimes in this world, there would be no solid country left in the world, especially EU,USA and Russia, and you can see this by looking at history.(I gave an example, otherwise, as I said, almost every country in the world has a more or less dark past)
Some places in the world are at high risk for some congenital disasters.
Like Japan's constant struggle with earthquakes and typhoons. Just as there will not be an earthquake in a place that is not on the fault line. Earthquake risk is determined by region, not by condition or time.
In wars, there are two groups, the criminals and the victims, but in natural disasters, there are always only the victims who are affected by the event.
May those who lost their lives rest in peace, I wish a speedy recovery to the injured.
''Allah/God/What we believe'' protect all of us and help the victims.

The damage is on Turkey's southwestern border and Syria, which was originally hell-bent on "Syrian refugee corridor" tactics because of Russia before Ukraine.

'a, 🇹🇷 halkına ve 🇹🇷'deki depremde hayatını kaybedenlerin ailelerine başsağlığı dileklerimi iletiyor tüm yaralılara acil şifalar diliyorum. Bu zor zamanda 🇹🇷 halkının yanındayız. Afetin sonuçlarının üstesinden gelmek için gerekli yardımı sağlamaya hazırız.

The Ukrainian people know this and President Zelensky directed rescue assistance despite this state of war with Russia.
The area of the earthquake is also an area where the Turkish president and residents are not on good terms.
(Also commonly known as the Kurdish problem...)

From what I see in your, Edit, it seems to me that you should check the reasons why Syria continues to go through the hell it is going through.

Some countries are not reporting what happened to Syria, and the tactics and strategies that Russia has used against Syria are being diverted to Ukraine, which is atrocious.
The Ukraine discussion also documents the atrocities committed by the Russian government through the "Evacuation Corridor". (This includes some of what happened in Syria).
If you are interested, please take a look.

Ukraine, of course, needs to help those affected by natural disasters to get back to normal as soon as possible.

Good idea. Punish ordinary people for the decisions of corrupt elites. Seriously, why try to hijack a thread about human suffering to forward your own political narrative. You can do better.

Well if the government had any reason to begin with, they wouldn't build so many mega-dams.
They are gambling on the life of their population and the entire region.

Now it is urgent to rescue people who survived the earthquakes and are currently under debris. The region is cold and many buildings collapsed. There is a high risk of hypothermia.
I heard on the news that some countries will send SAR teams and medical staff. Thank you for putting humanity in the first place instead of politics.

Thank you for your good wishes. Horrifying events. I'm not in the affected area but I was at 17 August 1999 earthquake. I can tell that these two earthquakes were much more destructive (literally half of the city is demolished and it's not the one) than what I lived back then. Dead count already surpassed 7000 and we are afraid that it can pass 30000 if not more, truly devastating. Hope we can overcome this but the loss is huge. Haven't heard from a couple of my friends from the area yet.

Please don't forget about Syris

I've been on a place sorting food/cloths and later I noticed it was only for Turkey, something that I now regret.
Both countries need help but take into account that Syria has been in a destructive civil ear for several years and lacks even more infrastructure.

At least the company that I work for says that they will split the money they get from donations evenly between both countries.

Not surprised it's nigh impossible to get into Syria. Not only due to both the government and rebel forces, but also due to roads being destroyed or otherwise inaccessible.
