Sorry, wouldn't know, people blacklist for a wide variety of reasons. Usually, opening this kind of topic doesn't help either...

You prefer blue - you get BL by someone that prefers green.
You might get BL for this topic, and I might get BL for replying.

Not to mention comments you’ve made outside of those threads.
Also, this thread might garner more blacklists…

And correlate any spike with any possible post you have made on forums or giveaways... Only idea I can give.

For Gus in particular, I think the most common reasons would be:

• Giveaways for tasteless games
• First giveaway was for the wrong game
• Their "best way to level up CV" thread
• New "monthly PC Assistance Thread" every month instead of just one thread
• Topic on a certain political figure
• Their first ever thread .... invite to a Discord server so you win a competition

All those would probably be 100 blacklists ... After that you can add in all the stuff Breizh said for the remaining 35+ blacklists (I say + as this topic will likely net a few more)

There are complaints you didn't thank for your won games. A reason to blacklist because although it may surprise you manners do count for some.
Don't think I did blacklist you because I only go after bigger fry.

Hey, it's not for nothin, but since you're still in your first year of even accessing this site, it seems worth saying to me.

• Welcome. This is an inclusive community AFAIK, and you're welcome here.
• Bro, this ain't reddit and this ain't discord. Do that stuff in the right places.
• My read is that the majority of people here care about positive engagement-- your thank yous, not min-maxing the GA system, participating in discussions constructively that all covers a lot.
• You do have a "Not received" ga that is the first in your GA history-- it may be too late, but if you're able to get that person their game, it may help you out with how others are viewing your user history... I don't think this is the main source of your BLs, because I think most normal people would just look at your history and think "That dude figured out how to win GAs quickly, but they're still new to the site"
• I really gotta say your one post that didn't meet the community standards was how I found out about all of that, as an american, and I thought the discussion back and forth in the comments was really heartbreaking and some of my least favorite content I've seen on SG even after using the site for maybe half a year longer than you. There's a very good reason that stuff is outside the community standards, and I hope you can appreciate that's some of what I mean when I say "This ain't reddit"-- just use the site as intended and go with the flow, I think you'll find it's a wonderful place that you can get along quite well with.

I've been here ten years longs than you OP and I've only been blacklisted 157 times.

More than a few of them do it for ego, but honestly - they are allowed to do it for whatever they want.

A healthy Internet lets all sorts of people share the same space, but they don't have to share it with people they don't want to.

But if you start opening threads and getting no replies, you might want to think about what it is you say or do that attracts so little attention from the main group.

If you are concerned about being BL'd. You shouldn't comment at all in this community. This is the best advice i can give you. Even a simple thanks, is enough to get BL'd. You might wonder why? A comment is the equivalent of you waving a flag to everyone, saying you are here, which means people will check you out, which then leads to blacklisting. Think of this like a battlefield, lots of people around you in this community are your enemies, looking for you, if you wave your flag, you are helping them spot you. But not saying thanks when you win is also bad, which leads to blacklisting.

Here are some reasons as to why you might have been BL'd:
-sharing a different opinion;
-gift to win ratio;
-not playing your wins;
-breaking rules;
-opening too many of the same discussions;
-opening discussions to talk about why you are BL'd;
-not saying thanks when you win something (even if the game costs 1 cent, the least people should do is thank the GA creator);
-saying thanks when you enter a GA (can be considered spam, a nuisance to lots of people, this is why saying it when you win makes the most sense);
-not commenting when you enter a GA inside an event (eg: birthday, cakeday, train, puzzles, etc);
-breathing through your mouth instead of your nose;
-simply existing;

There's is lots more reasons... Seriously though, if you are concerned with Blacklists, you should avoid gathering attention as much as possible, which is definitely what you have been doing lately.

Just commenting in the discussions is enough to get BL'd for no good reason at all.

However, let's be honest, you've given plenty of people all kinds of different reasons to dislike you. From threads like asking for votes in exchange for games(trading), to political threads, to then months later asking how to level up(?), making repeat threads with you providing 0 relevant new information, your bot illusion thread(although you've likely gained some tin foil wearers WL for that one), and now this one asking as to why you get BL(which is only going to result in more as the customs are on SG).

PS: For your monthly assistance threads, you could've instead looked up some of the new tech and shared it with people, maybe something related to gaming and see what other things people can find along the way that you couldn't, instead you just made a thread with nothing interesting in it basically asking people to contribute so you alone can get more knowledge with you doing 0 effort(this would be the equivalent of making a giveaway event and you giving 0 games). Even then, you probably could've made a timeline for 2025 because not that much interesting stuff happened this year worth to share regarding tech with people who likely don't understand as much of it, so monthly threads were kinda pointless but you didn't have maybe other interesting ideas to use for threads. All I'm saying is, in concept there's something there, but the execution was poor.

If what you had were questions about a subject in tech, you could've made a thread asking for that in offtopic, but of course there's subs you can use on both reddit/discord/other places which will have a much higher concentration of knowledgeable people on that subject than you'd find here since you'd be targeting specifically that area.
