"Key used"?

Hey, I have a little question. I used the key to game, which I already have. Does the key still works, or it's consumed? I want to create GA, but I don't know it's possible with this key.

Still works (:

If you activated it, and Steam quoted that 'You already have this game' then the key is still working/active

you can't activate 2 same games on steam, the 2nd key is working.
