Have you changed the DPI settings in Windows? Firefox now follows those DPI settings.

Either way, the simplest solution is probably to install the NoSquint Addon. Then you can set the default zoom level to whatever you want.

If you're using a Windows DPI other than 100% then that's probably it. It looks like other people are frustrated with it too, so at the moment it's a choice between living with the change or reverting to version 21 which has known security holes. Hopefully they'll either revert or fix it in the next update. :/

Okay so after i tried nosquint ive decided to just remove it and manually zoom out 2 steps on every site i ever visit every time -_-

firefox better come with an update soon that makes it as it was before or i will start using chrome.

Found a tip. Go to about:config and search for "pix".
Then look for "layout.css.devPixelsPerPx" it may be set to -1.0. Try changing it to 1.0.
I don't have the problem so I can't personally test this. Hope it works for you.
