For those that have tried the free games with game sessions, I have never played it, but I heard during the game appear ads. How does it work? Is it too bothersome? Are there too many ads?

I've never used Gamesessions but one ad in between a game is three ads too many.

I think it depends on the game, one is more annoying, the other is not.
For instance, I played Zombie Army Trilogy, and the only ad I saw was "buy on Steam here" that sometimes appeared in a bottom right.

Same thing BrunoTheLizard said. I have played both Zombie Army Trilogy and Sniper Elite 3. There is an image ad before the game starts, occasional small box on the bottom right during gameplay, and an image ad after quitting the game; all to ask to buy it.

Sounds like they changed how their ads work then, I played a few games from there a couple years ago and the game would occasionally pause and a full screen ad would play, then the game would unpause.

I played quite a bit of Epistory and don't remember seeing an ad mid-game.

When I was playing (SE3 and nazi zomby army) it looked like somebody was writing to me on steam. In right bottom was a message for couple of seconds. And it was appearing every idk 5 minutes? Not really annoyiong, but annoying :)

I've played quite a lot of Zombie Army Trilogy and I don't even remember seeing an ad so I guess it really wasn't that invasive because my tolerance for unwanted ads is extremely low and I'm used to browsing without ads so I really don't like them.
