Never heard of this The End Is Nigh but it looks like Celeste all over again
Hard as f*ck platformer from the creator of Binding of Isaac. Also the game is depressive. A LOT. Deliberately. (It's in HB Trove since its beginning if you sub for the monthly)
It's such a weird mix of difficulty and depressive that I legit dropped it after 2 hours despite me loving challenge and platformers. But at least this time it will be also free, so no risks involved for anyone.

Damn missed Celeste. :(
INSIDE and ABZÛ are two of my favourites, definitely worth playing!

I'm sad because I signed up three months ago and didn't receive my invitation

source?
With the "Telltale Games is coming back" headline 2(?) weeks ago the new owner added an discount to some old telltale games and part of it was batman. So they hold the right and not the company close to epic that released the walking dead...
So: might be true but I don't see a confirmation

but the walking dead is not telltale anymore and the new owner of telltale is not on epic (yet)

Quoted from picture description:
Telltale’s Batman adventure is part of the new deal. Telltale Games
1st Paragraph:
The new company will sell some of Telltale’s back catalog and will work on new games based on a few Telltale-associated properties, as well as new licenses.
4th Paragraph
In an interview with Polygon, Ottilie confirmed that the new business has back-catalog rights to licensed properties The Wolf Among Us and Batman as well as full rights to original Telltale games such as Puzzle Agent. “There are some other expired licenses that we’re looking at,” he said.
Although, I believe there might be new works in place. I think the free game next week will be a previous Telltale, not something new. Cheers~

Dont know if anyone already said this - But I just noticed WRC 8 is exclusive as well..
Was a bit stumped when I saw it will be available 2020 september. Checked out Epic - and its there
And isnt Conarium basically a horror game? What happened with giving an alternative for such games ?

Wait, I thought that there is no particular reason that sometimes there are two games. I thought they are just generous.
If the second game is given because the first one is "horror" and cowardly people would not play it, that is kinda... pathetic :-)))

it's not because of the genre but because of the age restriction ;)
