Well, think I can understand you, when a song becomes trendy and it is everywhere I end up hating that song >_< But I consider the potato as a symbol, a representation of the absurd and foolish things. I really don't care too much if it is a potato, a banana, or a train, but since I was a child I always enjoyed a lot the absurd humour, maybe because it is a way to escape from the reality and just smile as a dumb :)
