I guess if I could positively identify bots, I would blacklist those accounts, but since I can't, I rarely use it... I have only put on there a few people who either didn't activate the keys within a week from me or I go to their steam page and the wall is filled with requests by SG gifters asking for them to please activate their winnings.

If there was a way to positively identify bots they would be banned anyway (since botting is against the rules already) so the blacklist remains for situations in which people take personal offense to something or other that is beyond the scope of the rules.

I use my blacklist for rule-breakers and people who abuse group privileges. 5 and counting lol. They don't always get banned permanently. One of them got banned later though. Then there is one person who royally pissed me off... but I only blacklisted them because they blacklisted me first. XD.
So there are many reasons people use it other than just being the type that are constantly offended. ;) We might not always agree with their reasoning though. Heh!

Haha! I know. But I probably won't even use 20 spots let alone 1000. I was kinda annoyed at the time as was like "Oh yeah? Back at ya." hahaha!
You know, when I added some GAs to the last community train a couple of people unblacklisted me so they could enter. That's the downside, it still allows them to remove you whenever you make a giveaway for something they want. lol. The cooldown should be like a month. XD
